Modelica Implementation of Field-oriented Controlled 3-phase Induction Machine Drive

چکیده
This paper focuses on the modeling of a cage induction machine drive under direct-field oriented control, also referred to as flux-vector control. The interest is to create a behavioral model of an induction machine drive under field orientation for sytem simulations since field-oriented control is now commonplace in commerical adjustable speed drives. First, the 3phase induction machine model is developed. Then, the field orientation requirements are applied to this model and a voltage source inverter is used to emulate a controlled current source. Rotor field orientation is used because of fewer limitations than other fieldorientation approaches. The inverter is assumed to provide the desired phase currents instantenously and ripple free at some efficiency. Finally, these three components of the overall drive sytem, machine model, field orientation and inverter power supply, are combined together in a block using the Modelica language and simultaneously solved using the Dymola user interface.

This paper presents an on-line fuzzy tuning scheme for indirect field-orientation (IFO)-controlled induction machine drives. A fuzzy controller is used to regulate the speed, and another two fuzzy compensators are combined to correct detuning of field orientation. Since detuning effects of the IFO induction machine drive is minimized by the new fuzzy control scheme, the induction machine can ac...

In this paper, using a personal computer (PC), the practical implementation of scalar and vector control methods on a three–phase rotor surface- type permanent magnet synchronous machine drive is discussed. Based on the machine dynamic equations and the above control strategies, two block diagrams are presented first for closed-loop speed controlling of the machine drive/system. Then, the desig...
متن کاملSpace Vector Pulse Width Modulation with Reduced Common Mode Voltage and Current Losses for Six-Phase Induction Motor Drive with Three-Level Inverter
Common-mode voltage (CMV) generated by the inverter causes motor bearing failures in multiphase drives. On the other hand, presence of undesired z-component currents in six-phase induction machine (SPIM) leads to extra current losses and have to be considered in pulse width modulation (PWM) techniques. In this paper, it is shown that the presence of z-component currents and CMV in six phase driv...
